March: The Month You Decide Who You’re Becoming

March isn’t just another month on the calendar. It’s the month where momentum either builds… or breaks. And at Creative Thoughts, we believe this is the month you decide who you’re becoming. Not next year. Not “when things slow down.” Now.

Stay creative, stay inspired!

Becoming Is a Daily Decision

Growth doesn’t happen when everything is perfect.

It happens when:

  • You create while grieving.

  • You build while doubting.

  • You show up before the applause.

Becoming is uncomfortable.

It requires discipline. It requires belief. It requires vision when there’s no visible proof yet.

But here’s the truth:

The version of you you’re praying for? They’re built by the habits you choose this month.

Ask yourself:

  • What am I feeding daily - fear or faith?

  • Am I creating or just consuming?

  • Am I building something that will outlive me?

Women’s History Month: Creating Without Permission

During Women’s History Month, we don’t just celebrate women who made it. We celebrate women who kept going.

From pioneers like Maya Angelou and Toni Morrison to modern visionaries building brands from scratch - the common thread is this:

They created anyway.

Your Becoming Matters

As a Black woman artist from Philly, I understand what it feels like to:

  • Build without investors.

  • Dream without guarantees.

  • Create without constant validation.

And still show up bold.

Your creativity doesn’t need permission. Your voice doesn’t need approval. Your dream doesn’t need perfect timing. It just needs consistency and passion.

The world doesn’t need more copies.

It needs you - fully expressed.

So this March:

Create boldly. Speak clearly.

Build consistently. Rest strategically. Move intentionally.

Becoming isn’t loud.

It’s disciplined.

And discipline builds legacy.

Stay creative. Stay inspired. Art is Life!

3 Things To Do This March If You’re Serious About Growth:

  1. Finish one thing you started. It’s ok to juggle multiple projects, pace yourself and create a manageable and actionable plan you can execute on.

  2. Document your journey. Post it, or keep it for future use. Share it with likeminded friends and family. Journal it. Archive it. One day it will inspire someone else.

3. Invest in your craft. Time, education, materials, mentorship.
